FAQ

Before you request a guide.

What do I receive?

A custom map and a written digital guide with areas and activities to consider for your own research.

Do you make bookings or create a fixed itinerary?

No. You choose, book, and pay for all transport, accommodation, tickets, and activities yourself. The guide is not a confirmed day-by-day itinerary.

How much does a guide cost?

$20 for trips of up to 5 days, $25 for 6 days, or $30 for 7 days. You register a card with Stripe when you request a guide, but you are not charged until after the guide is delivered.

How long can my trip be?

Up to 7 days through the request form. Trips of 8 days or longer require a short consultation with us before any paid work begins.

Can I share dietary, allergy, or accessibility needs?

Yes, you can share them as planning context. You must still confirm ingredients, accessibility, availability, and suitability directly with each provider before relying on them.

Need a phone call in Japanese?

The PLAN guide does not include calls or phone-based checks. MORISTACK CALL is a separate product for Japanese phone calls — a separate request, a separate fee, and trip details are never copied between services.

Need a Japanese phone call while planning?

If you need a Japanese phone call while planning

Hotels, ryokan, restaurants, city offices, and clinics often speak Japanese only. MORISTACK Call places the call for you in Japanese and reports the answer back in English — from $6 for a single call. Useful for any confirmation that email or chat cannot resolve.
