What this service is
MORISTACK Japan Digital Guide is an information and planning-support service. We are not a licensed travel agency, and nothing we provide is a package tour, a travel arrangement contract, or individualized travel consultation under Japanese travel-industry regulation. What you receive is a general, human-reviewed planning document — prompts, themes, and considerations to help you shape your own trip.
What you receive
Based on the interests, dates, and pace you share with us, we prepare a written guide (delivered as a PDF, or shared through a service such as Google Drive) that may reference specific areas, activities, or spots worth considering, along with a map marking them for your own reference. This guide is background material for your own research — it is not a confirmed itinerary, a day-by-day schedule, or a booking, and it does not reserve, hold, or guarantee anything on your behalf. Confirming a place is actually open, reachable, and right for your plans on the day is your own responsibility.
Bookings and payments are always yours
We do not book or pay for transportation, accommodation, tickets, tours, or any other travel product on your behalf, and we never take your payment card or account details for that purpose. Where our guide mentions how or where to book something, that description stops at information — contacting the provider, entering your own details, and paying is a step you take yourself, directly with that provider.
Affiliate links in public guides
Some public guide links are marked "Ad." If you buy through one, MORISTACK may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change your price, create a booking through MORISTACK, or mean that we rank one provider above another solely because of compensation.
Accuracy of referenced information
Prices, hours, availability, and requirements for any place or provider we mention can change after we prepare your guide, and can vary by season, holiday, or without notice from the operator. Please confirm current details yourself before relying on them.
Dietary, allergy, and accessibility information
If you tell us about a dietary need, allergy, or mobility consideration, we use it only to shape general suggestions — we do not contact, verify with, or obtain any confirmation from a restaurant, venue, or transport provider on your behalf. Ingredient lists, allergen handling, and accessibility features can change and can be wrong even when we describe them accurately at the time. Before eating, boarding, or visiting anywhere, confirm directly with the provider and, for a serious or life-threatening allergy or medical condition, consult a qualified professional rather than relying on this guide. We are not liable for any illness, injury, or harm arising from your reliance on dietary, allergy, or accessibility information in your guide.
Guide fees and payment
Trips of up to 5 days are US$20, 6 days US$25, and 7 days US$30; longer trips are scoped and quoted individually. You register a card with Stripe when you submit a request, but we do not charge it until after your guide has been delivered and reviewed.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancelling before we begin preparing your guide means no charge is made. Once your guide has been delivered, the fee is generally not refundable, because the work has been completed. If the problem was on our side — for example we misunderstood your request or the guide was materially wrong for the trip you described — contact us and we will review it and may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion. This does not affect any right you may have under applicable consumer law.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for every decision you make about your trip, and for all bookings, payments, travel documents, insurance, and compliance with entry or safety requirements. We do not verify your eligibility to travel or the suitability of any suggestion for your specific circumstances.
Governing law and liability
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the courts of Japan have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute arising from these Terms or the service. The guide is provided on an as-is, as-available basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from your use of this service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us for the guide in question. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
